Pandora Tomorrow MP Demo...doesn't...work.

It looks like fun, and everything is fine until I try to join a MP game. It tries to join and always says either "game session full" or "the game session is no longer avaliable." The first part is understandable, but the second leaves me at a loss. What the heck am I doing wrong?

Okay, I solved the problem, sort of. There's documentation on how to fix it, which says: "To solve the problem please configure NAT to open the following ports : UDP 8888 and 45001."

So, my new question is this: how the **** do I do that? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

Have a router? If so, check the manual, it gives you the IP of the router, log in, and port forward those ports. It's usually fairly self explanatory once you're in the router...

I believe you need a patched version of the demo.

Oooooohhhhh! I been having the same problem! Didn't realize I had to open some ports... that kindof sucks though, I think I'm out of port-open-boxy-thingies [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] My router only gives me 20 slots to type in ports to open, and I think I've used them all up :x

question: if I have the ports 27005 open in one box, then 27015 open in another box, and then later down the list I have 27000-27015, I can just delete those first two, right? The third one takes care of those since they're in that range, correct? if so, why don't I just open like ports 0-999999 (or whatever all of them is)?

0-65325 I believe is the highest it goes. Yes you can delete the first 2. But if you open ports, you invite spyware/viruses to infect your computer (if you use IE at least).

SC: Pandora Tommorw has the worst multiplayer browser......ever. It's such a sack of crap.

You should've seen tofu, me, and Muurn yesterday trying to create and join games. It took us like 5 hours.
