Will work for server space....

This isn't appropriate for the tech forum, really, so don't tell me that it belongs there. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

Basically, this is my story:

I've never really had a real web-site since a crappy network of them I ran when I was 13 years old. I then had a series of short-lived failures. Despite all of this, however, I've always had server space. Generally, though, I've learned the hard way that when you leech off of others then you have to cope when they decide to not pay to renew the space. Now, while it's logical that I should buy my own space at this point that isn't possible for a number of reasons:

1) I'm broke.
2) I don't have the means to purchase online, and my parents condemn it.
3) When I do get a job this summer, I plan on using it to get a car, go to debate camp, and hopefully on a girlfriend (if I get one [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] ).

But at this point, I'm rambling... so I'll make it simple: I need server space. Here are my "needs":

1) PHP 4.3.0 or better
2) Mysql 3 or better (with fairly decent amount of room to make tables because I need them badly)
3) At least 10 megs of space, although I have never used more than 2 megabytes for files. Mostly, I need space for my database stuff but I don't think that my data will exceed 10 megabytes, and I'm willing to prune if it does.

What I will do for server space:

1) Sex
2) PHP code, I'm fairly experienced although not an "expert" like Brian. I feel pretty comfortable doing what most PHP work calls me to do, and I'm learning to do it well.

What I won't do:

1) Tutorials; I never could write any for Fazer (some of you may know him for the chat), probably because I suck at that sort of thing.

So, if anyone can help or point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Oh and I'll be using it for a "personal" web-site [blog, etc] and random projects.

Do you have a domain name? I could probably hook you up as long as you don't do anything illegal.

No [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] I could probably get a subdomain if I had an IP to point it to.

And I am a huge advocate of the law, even on the internet.

If you are willing, my e-mail address is mailto:jedilegend@comcast.netjedilegend@comcast.net</A> or I'll be in the chat tonight. Thanks in advance either way.

I have space available.
E-mail me at tk421@cogeco.ca and I'll give you a subdomain and database access.
Tell me what you want your subdomain name to be.

That's what I was making a very subtle allusion to in my post. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Evad, thanks. I'll be sending you an e-mail shortly.

Cool, just go with him. I have a lot of stuff going on anyway, so he'll probably be more responsive.
