That's how I want to go. But I think I'd like to land on a pile of C5*, setting it off, and leveling a small city.

*I read about this stuff in a magazine somewhere. It's the Next-gen C4, apparently a gram of C5 is equal to about a pound of C4.

well, not really. i mean, you could give your life in a war defending your unit or something. wouldn't be good for you, but it would be good for the people you saved, and you'd get a hell of alot of post-humous (sp?) honors.

The only way it could have been better would be if he had landed in a swimming pool. Other than that, I think we can all take a page out of this guy's book.

I think it was a selfish way to go. Just think of how horrifying it was to the people whose patio he landed on. That's going to leave a mental scar for a while. If he wanted to go out like that, he should have jumped into a lake or an area of wilderness, where no one else would have to see him...land.
