My composite score as of last year is a 1440.

The SAT is funny because they always try to be politically correct-any reading passages about women are always positive, they usually have something about blacks, and there is usually something about another minority too.

I got a 1430. Missing two easy math questions hurt me a lot. In retrospect, I probably should have prepared and/or slept.

I here the U.S. Education Dep (or whoever else makes them) are gonna make it 2400 instead of 1600. They're allegedly adding an 800 point essay.

Most people are probably writhing in pain, but that'll probably really boost my marks! I love essays over all the crappy multiple choice any day. Creativity > monotony

my day yesterday went a little like this:

wake up at 6:30 so I could leave by 7:30 and be there on time, test ends at 12:45, get to play practice at 1:30 (it started at 12), got the evil eye from the director (Peter), had to run right on stage without getting to catch my breath, let alone warm up. Finish at 6:30. Grab food, start to soak in the bath but was interrupted by a call from my friend telling me she was going to be at my house in 20 min so I could drive her to our friend's play. finished quickly, got dressed did hair and whatnot right as she got here. ran right over to play. it ended at 11:30.

in case anyone cared...sorry just felt like venting

I thought the verbal section was hard as hell with all these pretentious vocab words. The time limit was also something that put alot of pressure on me. Oh and Massassi seems to be full of genuises, or liars....

really? the verbal section was fine for me, the math section was rather annoying. I never ran out of time for the verbal but I had to omit 2 questions for math since I ran out of time

I was thinking the same thing. But I got 1110 on my last SAT(and I still got into PSU).
No sig.

Niether of the sections were really all that hard... the passages were lame but other than that it was fairly easy... a few hard vocab words and now and then a crazy math problem.... nothing too bad.

Ya... my day yesterday and Saturday consisted of me working pretty much all day... 1pm to 11:45pm... it sucked.

But yes, the SATs I got a 1310 on my first and only try. It's really overrated, much like college.

You guys should all go to Yale or Harvard and post a screenshot of all the Massassians together.... I thought the math was much simpler as opposed to the stupid vocab part. Why are the reading passges always so boring to read? The PSSAs (a test every Pennsylvanian high schooler has to take) is child play compare to the SATs. Although the PSSAs does require knowledge of Calculus and Trigonometry.

PSSAs eh? Here in texas we have TAKS and its the dumbest thing, they hype it up like its some big bad hard test, and its always the same lame test... Ive actually gotten the same story twice in a row in these tests...(over 2 years)

I only ever took the ACTs. I wanted to take the SATs too, just to see what I would get, but my parents thought it would be pointless to take both. I got a 27 over all on those with my highest being 32 in Science Reasoning which is the area that brought most of the people I knew down

Same here, the school makes a big deal out of the PSSAs because they can get more funding if the school does good as a whole.

IIRC, they only hype it because it's used to evaluate the teachers.
