GoldWave is no use, it just keeps on complaining about if the file is PCM / whatever, and any option doesn't work. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/mad.gif]

So, I ask this question from you:

Is there a better a better program than GoldWave to convert WMA to MP3? Any program?

Thank you already for your answers.

I'm not sure if it'll do, but Audacity is an excellent free audio editing program (far superior to goldwave in my opinion), you should try it out.

...You could just not put things in WMA in the first place...

I use Nero and Nero's Wave Edit for all my music recording/ripping/burning needs.

...but that's not free.

I am going to try Audacity when I get to my own comp, hopefully it will be able to convert WMA to MP3.

Anyways, I prefer MP3 over WMA since WMA somehow requires more RAM from my comp O_o

Audacity supports very few filetypes, and WMA is NOT one of them.

You might try CoolEdit Pro, IIRC, it supports WMA.

If nothing else, set your record source to stereo, shut off everything that might make a noise, start a recording app, and hit play on your audio player....

This is off-topic, but this way is sometimes kinda weak, since you will think that you don't have anything that might make a noise, but still noises like that appear... or then I'm just using wrong methods. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/rolleyes.gif]

You are probably already aware of this:

But does that make -2 + -2 = -5?
