Avatars will be off by default so you would never see any of them unless you choose to.

They're both disabled right now, but since people have the option to not view other people's avatars or sig pics, I don't see what the big deal is.

    text should be limited to three sizes, normal, slightly smaller and slightly larger. colours should be limited to those which don't suck and could be useful in accentuating a point. fonts should be serif, sans-serif and fixed using whatever font-families are appropriate to get maximum system coverage.

    I don't really see why. If people use them in moderation I really don't see the problem.

    I don't mind avatars, but I really don't want to see Massassi become like every other forum out there. I really hate internet forums in general, but this one still has it's dignity.
