Has anyone heard of this? According to PC Gamer, it's a third person "tactical shooter" which charges a subscription fee. (this is because Kuma are releasing new missions each month).

To quote PCG: "Kuma/War's 'unique selling point' is that the new missions it offers actually are new missions. Whatever happened in Iraq in the previous couple of weeks is transferred into a game level."

Is this perhaps taking war games too far?

If I died in iraq, I wouldn't want a bunch of low-life geeks watching a cheap video-game reproduction of my death a week later.
The music industry is a cruel and shallow money trench where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

Has anyone on that game team actually been to Iraq?

And I hope many players of that game don't feel they are "learning" and an "expect" of the Iraq conflict.

So, I'm sure so-and-so's grandfather doesn't want a cheap reproduction of their D-day death. Does that mean you are gonna ban all the WWII games?
