compressing movies

Im tryin to compress a movie and i did it with divx. I dont have XP so i cant use windows media player. SO HOW CAN I MAKE THE MOVIE FILE REALLY SMALL!!!!! Its already pretty small 23.4 mb 2:30 but i want to get it smaller......

Use a different file format.

.MOV is good. QuickTime Player supposedly comes with "Authoring Tools" should you have chosen to install them... I can't find them... .'/

Use VirtualDub and just download a codec pack. Just convert it into WMV9 codec (which can compress quite small) or a DivX codec.
