Brian's thread Custom User Titles. 104 people have voted (presumably a decent percentage of the active community), yet the thread has a massive 1205 views. It's fair to assume a large proportion of those who visted the thread did vote on it (why wouldnt you?), so have we all checked back on it 12 times each or what?

Yeah, looking at the view counts most threads have 10x more views than replies.

However when you reply it sends you back to the page which adds another view... Also when you vote it refreshes the page and adds another page view.

When you look over a thread for the second time to see if anyone replied to your post, you add one to views, but none to posts (unless you're pagewizard and have to respond to everything).

Yeah there are a lot of lurkers. Tons of people show up and say "I've been reading here for years but now I'm posting" it's surprising.

I don't think it counts the views twice when you reply either.

Yeah I admit it, I lurked until registering today. I used to post, then kinda didnt.
