Umm, no. Winzip is the single worst zip shell ever created. 7-zip kicks Winzip's ***.

Nah, it's pretty good. WinAce is better, though.

Irfanview rocks for opening weird image types, and for doing little editing things to whole images.

Speaking of Zippers, I prefer Ultimate Zip myself...

Also some other good proggies are Trillian as well as Open Office
Ya know? Common sense? Not really that common...

I liked UltimateZip till it went down the ****ter.

Now I use PowerArchiver, not free but the best I have ever used. It even does 7-Zip and has all the other little things I can't live without.

Graphics:
Name: Artrage
Size: Unknown, but not terribly large. 2 - 20mb?
Description: ArtRage is a free painting package that lets you play around with realistic painting and drawing tools in a simple, intuitive environment. Or: a simpler freeware Painter clone. Good practice, if you've ever wanted to try oilpainting, especially with a graphics tablet.
OS: Windows (MSI installer)
Cost: absolutely nothing. Freeware.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

 • Visual Studio .NET 2003
 • Editplus
 • Photoshop
 • Aurora Toolset (NWN)
 • WinRAR
 • Firefox
 • Notepad

One cannot forget notepad. That's probably the ONLY redeeming Microsoft program.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I think Goldwave is an excellent program for editing voice acting sound files. It has impressive static noise reduction capabilities, it's quite easy to use, and has in general plenty of all kinds of options to edit and affect with effects the sound files.

I use a text editor called Texturizer. Poorly named and marketed, it's one of the best text editors I've used.
