I cant seem to stop getting these e-mails from massassi that say that this one person has replied to the thread u subscribed to. I tried to fix this in my options thing but that didnt seem to do the trick. What up?

yeah, when you go to reply, under options there's a box that's checked that says "Email Notification: emails sent to you whenever someone replies. Only registered users are eligible." You have to uncheck it.

Here's the behavior I would like the forums to have:

• Subscribe me to every thread I post to
• Never send me an e-mail

Simple, no? I don't see a way to do it, however.

The better method.

User Control Panel / Edit Options/ Uncheck "Use Email Notification by Default"

That permanently unchecks it, that way you don't have to uncheck it everytime you post.

I like being able to subscribe to threads, but as soon as I subscribe, it sends me a bazillion emails even though I have my cp set to "do not send notifications by default":mad:

I like having a list of threads I am watching, it beats bookmaking, but I hate these emails. It seems there is no compromise.

Simple fix for that. Change your massassi email to one you never use (make a new address if you need to) then you can subscribe, but you'll never see the emails unless you want to.
