Fix all your problems.

To avoid e-mails from every thread you post on, go to your User Control Panel, and then click on options, and turn subscribe off by defualt.

worth noting:
going to the link only removes your current subscriptions, it doesn't prevent the forum from subscribing you again.

That's why you also have to turn off subscribing. The link I posted is for people that have a crapload of already subscribed threads. The tip following the link is to stop it from subscribing after the fact.

The science of reading is neglected in this day and age, isn't it?

Looked in my options and there is NO option to turn off subscription in them.
