Of course I say Opera, I use it on Linux and when I have to boot windows, I use it there too. Yes, I paid for a dual license and it was worth every penny.

I tried opera and i didn't like the fact that i had to pay for it to get rid of that annoying ad. So i went back to firefox.

I used Opera until I found it being incompatible with GMail. Using Firefox now.

IE is IE, Firefox is what you want it to be, it has a much slicker interface, and has improved load times with my internet connection. Mozilla all the way.

The new version apparently works with gmail :)

Update: well I just tried 7.54 - well it now lets me see a list of messages (better than before when it stuck on loading screen), but I can't click anything. So it doesn't really work with gmail.

it's 7.6 you want. I got it and it worked fine with gmail, there was some annoying java stuff they said to do, but I didn't need to. It worked fine for a couple of days, I'm currently having the same not being able to click messages problem. hoping it'll sort itself out...

That would be because its an IE imitation. It is IE at heart, just with fancy stuff that doesn't hide IE's largest flaw, security.

No he didn't. They aren't there for a reason.

Now as for lynx, there is NO GOOD REASON for it not to be on there.

I see no reason to use IE. Most everything is better. Even Netscape, which I hate more than IE, is better.

I use Firefox because it's IE without sucking.
