Uh... isn't it technically illegal to have it over the unregistered trial period?
.

I don't think they'd allow it to work if it was illegal. Either that or they're REALLY retarded.

Actually, I really do llike Winzip better than the other unzip programs that I've tried -- I've thought so for years (this includes Norton Unzip Wizard (name?), 7Zip, and PKZip -- 7zip is the best of these three, but my top preference still lies in Winzip; I don't know of any other compression programs, but I'm sure there's plenty more)

Since I installed it not to long ago on my new system, my trial apparently isn't up yet. But with all the versions on all the PCs I've used... I've probably gone at least 3+ years OVER the trial.

Winzip is nice, but 7zip is far better for compressing big stuff.

Winrar > Winzip

Compresses 20% better than winzip, I've tested.

It's all about WinRar... Screw WinZip or ACE... the problem with Ace is that whoever you give an aced file to has to have the same version of winace as you, or newer in order to open the file. Teh suxbad.

Uhh, yes I do. But I hardly see why I need WinZip to do that. (even when playing custom levels, Win XP has zip support that works fine for extracting levels, and Patch Commander can extract from .zips anyway.
