Here's the deal. I just signed up for Gmail a few days ago, and I sent an invitation to a friend today so he could sign up. When he clicks on the link that google sent him, it says that the account has already been created and he needs to log in. He never got to create his account though, that page came up the first time he tried to follow the link. Does anybody have any ideas as to why it might not work right? Is there a time restriction on how long you have to have an account before you can send working invites?

Strange. But if he needs another invitation, let me know, I have plenty.

There might be, it took a week before i could send a invite. I have some invites if any one needs a Gmail acount.

This could actually be one of the rarest circumstances.

There actaully is a site that generates GMail invites. However, 99.999% of the time they don't work. HOWEVER, there have been very few people who have actually gotten a valid Gmail account that way. So, it's probabyl a longshot, but it could've happened.

Eh? Are you saying there's a site giving out fake invites? If so, my invite came from someone on these boards and works, so the invites should too. If that's not what you mean...what the hell do you mean?

Same here. I tried to invite a guy on another forum, and the exact same error occured.

My ivites just wont go away

On friday, I got 6 and sent 4 out.
I checked my email yesterdayand was back to 6. I sent 2 out.
Once again today I am back up to 6.

I've got 12 invites, 6 from my account and 6 from my father's, he doesn't use them anyway.

I have four invites if anyone wants them.

PM me if anyone wants a Gmail invite, I've got 6.
