...already. It seems like the last one just blew through too. CNN wrote this story saying where it's forming, and how much damage the last one did....

Here's to hoping it doesn't cause another icestorm like in 98 in montreal. Being without heating or water for a month when it was -40c outside seemed like such an exciting adventure when I was younger, but nowadays I'd die from the lack of internet.

Wasn't that the year we got the kickass winter?

No, I think that was '96.

We (MD) got an insane blizzard that year.. There was about 5 feet of snow, at one point..

haha. 5 feet? im american and thats pretty... eh... thats small for a blizzard. then again minnesota hasnt had a full blown blizzard in a while. i remember living in buffalo, MN and having my dad cut a trail from my door to the bus stop in front of my house. the walls of it were like 2 times as tall as i was, so prolly at least 8 feet. thats the last one i remember anyways.

Cincinnati owns you all. We got a whole FOOT last year!

See, Cincinnati has the weather phenomenon. We get every type of weather, but never enough of any of it to be any good. In other words, we have the suckiest weather ever. We don't get enough rain to do much, we don't get enough sun to enjoy, we don't get enough snow to call off school, it'll go from 90F to 50F in one day, etc etc.

We don't get much snow in Tulsa. I'm rooting for another El Nino. Come on, El Nino!

I remember when El Nino affected San Jose, CA. Man, it was raining constantly for five months straight. It was so bad that surgically attaching an umbrella to your arm didn't sound like a bad idea. Too bad where I live no that it practically NEVER rains. I wish it would start raining like mad here so I can finally turn my room fan OFF for a change.

We need rain in alabama. So hot and humid, it clears everything out for a day or two when it comes through, but then it's back to normal, or worse. I want it to rain at least once a week. It has been here lately, because of hurricanes. Bleh

Last time, we actually got SNOW!
On average, there's about 3" of snow a year where I live and it's usually slush.

I want a snowy x-mas :(

Yeah last winter was pretty disappointing. We got one good snow here (just off of Tulsa) and it only lasted a few days. I think it was like 8 inches... Tulsa got a little more snow than here though during winter.
