And it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It showed a different side to the predators-- they were portrayed as creatures that would respect you a little if you proved yourself worthy by killing a xenomorph.
However, I missed the blue human-hunting mode that was present in the first predator movie (haven't seen the second) and in the games. I like how they finally implemented the speargun weapon from the games. (or that's how it looked to me when the preds killed everyone in the base camp and pinned that guy to the wall)
One thing I also missed was the gruesome death scenes that are typical in the previous aliens movies, but I got over it.
