Ok, its a day late and some of you may have seen it already, but theonering.net posed a press release found at www.thehobbitfilm.com that said the Hobbit would begin principal photography in 2005 and would be directed by Paul Anderson, who gave us such classics as Mortal Kombat *ahem*, Resident evil and Event Horizon and is curently working on Alien Vs. Predator. Turns out this was an April fools day prank and I fell for it.. oops! But an announcement is due sometime today, so lets all hope New line have got the rights and PJ is signed for it !
