My name is Israel:

Well, I've recently been programming with results.this game engine, and I've got some very extremly nice results. I'm doing a free MMORPG, 2d of course, on a fantasy version of how the samurai lived, but my problem is, that I'm using graphics from AOE AOK TC (Age of Empiers Age Of Kings TC or Conqueros Expansion) and I don't want any legal trouble, and the images only cover a few aspects. Here is what I've done and what is to be done:
Done (or almost done):
Basic moving system 95%(weird bug, only a little annoying, will fix soon)
Music system 100%
Isometric grid 100%
Wall system 50% (just need an image for the map editor)
Dialog 100%

To be completed:

Menus: ( I do these last since they are fast, and unimportant for develpment)
Battle Systems: (They're next)
Multiplayer: (Need money in order to get this feature)
Graphics: (I can't and don't want to use Microsoft's, only the beta version will use it for a while)
Training level (Will be in the beta version)

So... Some of you might ask your selves why I'm telling you . Simple I need graphics... The people who cooperate, will be able to beta test, and only them. What I need:
3d models of samurais, japanese weapons, japanese houses, bamboo, japanese people and buildings. I can do the interior of the buildings since you can actualy go inside them. So if you can and want to contribute to this project you must post 1 or 2 pics of your model in this thread followed by your E-mail. If you get no answer don't take it personal. What else will there be? Maybe, there can be money, but that depends on your own work. Your 3d models will hav't to be in one of these formats with the following conditions:

DXF format:
Textured.
Textures in jpgs.

3ds:
Textured.
Textures in jpgs.

3do:
Textured.
Textures in jpgs.

Blender format:
Textured.
Textures in jpgs.
Preferably rigged.

Also the people who help will be told what the game will consist of.

Dude, I sympathize with you but a lot of people don't have the time.

What? What about all the blooming modders, like the guy who did the samurai mod. Couldn't he at least convert and send me his models?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Unfortunately, it's during the schoolyear, and a lot of people are UBERBUSY with school. Especially since most of Massassi goes to Uni now.

You don't have a website or anything that convinces people you are serious....

You might want to recruit pn a forum where GameMaker is more known about and used.

Like this one: http://s4.invisionfree.com/Ocarina/ :)

Shyeah, learn yourself. No one has time. Get wingimp, and Rhino3D or Wings3d and get cracking. You have a lot more time to learn than most of us, so don't waste it. I sure wish I had time to learn a new game design aspect.

You do know an MMORPG is more than a regular game server with the max player limit set to 10000, right?

I would if I was rich enough to have 3DSMax or was rich enough to learn it.
