Dude, at school you're supposed to be learning, not playing games.

Get a proxy, make sure it works well (Check the proxy, and depending on how fast it pops up, use that to measure it's speed), anything BUT PORT 80, then go into Tools>>Internet Options>>Connection Settings>>LAN Settings

Enter it in, go to site, have fun.

Do as I do, and put the UT2003 and UT2004 demos on your iPod. Running from cd also works, but load times are slower.

Or use my web proxy which doesn't require all that work. /me whistles

(If you want access, you have to email me. And it is restricted for limited use, so don't bother handing it out to friends or I will change the URL on you)

Remember when kids used to actually go outside, play sports, and get exercise during free time at school?

Since when was there ever free time at school?

The school can't MAKE you shut down a proxy server, unless it's a private school.

pfff, we have an arcade, billards, air hockey, and a bowling alley at my school. Then again, it's a university.

I have hour after hour of freetime in school everyday. It's especially more common in the Block schedule.

naw, i was just in the computer lab with absolutely nothing to do.
and since www.dictionary.com isn't my favorite website, I wanted to naturely play games. Just was wondering how.

Near the end of the year, I got everyone playing Jedi Knight. Before that was RtCW, but I didn't bother to play that. Before that was Starcraft. Last year it was Unreal Gold.

I'd like to say that I'm only going to program before I take the AP exam, but it's sooooo not going to happen :(
May the mass times acceleration be with you.

I always remembered hours of free time in sixth form, we invented the common room games. I won the long jump, got quite close to winning the circle-the-room-without-touching-the-floor too.

We also had sword fights with hockey sticks and played cricket with balls of tightly packed paper wrapped in duct tape.

I never recall the urge to run to a computer room to play videogames.

Download castle of the winds, stick it on a cd/floppy/pendrive, take to school, play. This is what everyone seemed to do in the first few months of the school actually having computers, then they gave up and returned to playing outside.

During our Mechanical Engineering class, whenever we finish a chapter, we spend the next day playing UT. And the best part is, it was our teacher's idea. Even better is the fact that I completely own all my classmates, despite the fact that I actually suck at UT.

Heh, I want to get Q3 loaded on my school's computers. Because the comp lab is open on saturdays for 'coding' for comp sci team (yes I'm on it), but most of the time it's just one big LAN party.

Mmm...saturday afternoon fragging.
