So I went to download Firefox, because I am sick of IE, and this is what comes up. It looks like IE is a bit territorial.

... Your thread, last time I read it, pertained to the people who suggest it is the end all solution to problems dealing with the internet.

No one here, as of yet, has done that. Kyle said he was going to switch because he was fed up with IE. He did NOT suggest others do the same.

SP2 goes on-line September 4th, 2004. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. IE begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, September 29th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug...

that damn information bar has been popping up constantly ever since my computer decided to install that "service" pack a few days ago. and of course, I can't get rid of the thing, despite the instructions it provides for doing so. I finally gave up and decided to start using firefox (which I downloaded a few months back but never really used). I don't really like it, but at least it doesn't give me nearly as many error/activeX messages as IE did.

This, children, is why you disable Automatic Updates. Then you don't have crap like that happen.
