Shopping for comp desk is teh sux!

I've been looking everywhere I cannot find anything I like.
They are either made outta craptastic particle board, or they are $1,000 bulky arse oak desks.

ARGH.

I want something made out of metal and glass preferably (easy on the fiberboard). I need a corner unit too.

COMMENSE SUGGESTING UBER COMPANIES!

Me love you long time. KTHXBYE.

They just built an Ikea in MN somewhere. I remember people were lining up and going crazy and crying after it opened, because they apparently love Ikea

I find that sad.

You see, the thing is, you either get a particile board desk for cheap, or you get something made of real wood that;s super expensive. There really isn't a whole lot inbetween, but Ikea would be the palce to look. If there isn't a store around, you can order from their website

The owner of Ikea actually surpassed Bill Gates as the richest person in the world this year.

I went to an Ikea in Chicago, and it is a COOOOOL place. Got some pretty weird looking stuff. It has a pretty good food court too. AND A BALL ROOM!

Who the hell are these people? I've never heard of them. At all. I must've missed that memo.

Ikea: Cool furniture? Maybe.
Good computer desks. NO!

Common? This is all you've got? I was expecting someone to bust out with some magical "SUPER DESK" website that does taxes and mows your lawn at the same time.

*sigh*
Lyrics are highly overrated.

well sadly all those magical super desks of complete and utter doom were just sold out last week and the magical wizard of oz can't make any more because he had a heart attack and died... so sadly you have to go with your good ol cheap assed desks that can't mow your lawn or do your taxes

Have you checked Staples(or it's american counterpart)? Becuase on the first page of desks I found 2 glass ones, both corner units.

He's referring to the .CA in the url, Yoshi. :p

I thought .ca was california. I don't keep up with state/country-based domain names.

some office store, like office depot.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Well, I went ahead and bought a desk. I'm pretty picky. I looked at about 600 desks, no joke. And I finally decided on this one...

Leda Santa Fe EX

It's made out of steel and fiberboard (which is a lot better then particleboard fyi). I think I'm going to paint the cherry oak part dark grey though.

I got it on eBay brand new for $100.
TigerDirect has it for $160 :p

If you decide to go shopping for computer desks, I highly recommend using this site to find something you like...
www.lowpriceshopper.com
... and then use eBay to get it way cheaper.
