I know McAffe requires money, as well as Norton, but is there one out there for free?
I need a signature SO amazing, and SO funny, that when you read it, you say, "Hey, that's pretty funny."

I think AVG is free. you could also use housecall.antivirus.com just for scanning.

I strongly suggest you use Norton... I know it cost money but you do get what you pay for when it comes to virus programs.

If you're going to pay for something, get PC-Cillin. Otherwise, use housecall.

Do you go to college or university? If so, your school should have a site license for something like McAffee, in which case you should be able to download a full version off of your schools website.

Whenever I need a scanner I use F-Prot for DOS or Linux.
