Which season do you like best? (Red vs Blue)

I like them both about the same, but if I had to choose I'd choose Season 2 over Season 1. It is just as funny as one, but with less vulgarity and more great writing. I just bought the Season 2 DVD yesterday and it's awesome to watch all of Season 2 as a movie (It's just one long 90 min film, it doesn't have episode breaks and stuff).

So whats your opinion? I'm curious as to why many people dislike season 2. (On the commentary they were saying they tuned down the language because they had alot of 12 and 13 year old fans, but come to find out they only thought it was funny because of all the vulgarity.)

www.redvsblue.com <- You can watch both full seasons there, if you enjoy it I suggest you get the DVD's...All the extra features, the way they present the show and it isn't a really low-res avi like on the site either ^_^

(Please post as well, don't just vote.)

I thought Season 1 was better, but not because of vulgarity. It got more out-loud laughs, whereas Season 2 may have drawn a 'heh' at best. Season 2 got too confusing after a while for my liking anyway (too many new characters, and then there was that part inside someone's mind I think? Bleh). Both are well written, though.

Season 1 was better imo, but they are both awesome. I just ordered the black RvB t-shirt. I wanted to get one of the characters shirts, but they are all so brightly colored, and I dont look good in bright colors.

Though it's a difficult choice, I'd have to say season one. Mostly because it seemed to focus more on humor than plot. And plus, where else can you see a man be beaten to death with his own skull? "This doesn't seem physically possible!" :D

Haha, that was a great ep.

I got to meet the Red vs. Blue guys. They showed the second season of RvB at the Alamo Drafthouse last night and they were there.

Season 2 was pretty cool, but in season 1, the episode with lopez getting a spanish voice processor was so funny I had to watch it 10 times.
They put Season 1 as a webtv thing in winamp, was kinda cool to see all the episodes like tv.

I remember that--that's how I saw all the episodes. It was on there forever. They eventually took it down though.

Wish they'd do Season 2 so I can watch that--I don't feel like playing "Which episode is on redvsblue.com today!?"

The RvB guys are starting to rake in the cash. Every time I go to a Media Play and see RvB stuff playing on the tv's it blows my mind just a little... to think it all started as an April Fools joke.

That actually annoys me. I swear, in my area, it's a conspiracy. Every single time I'm in a store, be it Target, Best Buy, CompUSA, or Media Play, and RvB is playing on a TV, I CANNOT hear it. Either the TV is too close to other noise sources (crowds or stereo equipment) or the volume controls on the TV are locked off or busted.

It annoys me to no end. Especially seeing as how some of those you can't download. At least, not as a freeloader you can't.
