...was aired on Entertainment Weekly last night. It was mostly the creation of Vader's helmet and the fight scene between Obi-wan and Anakin. The fight scenes..........WOW............it was fast, intense, dynamic.........and it makes Maul look slow......also, the sabers were not the only "weapons" used....

I don't care what anybody says, I'm still very much looking forward to this film.

Me loves dark films :)

If lucas can get you excited about it he can also equally crush your dreams. After I and then II craptacular movies then I'm bracing for a third.

Anyone got a legal link to the clips?
2004-09-19, 8:26 AM #6
Well, at the least, there's no way it can be worse than Episode I, and there's no way there can be worse dialogue than "I don't like sand.."

wait, who am i kidding, we're talking about lucas here :(

but regardless, i'm looking forward to it.

"Obi Wan...I don't like you bery much. We should fight!"

"OWWWWWww. [Snip]!"

Those are my predictions for Episode 3's dialogue. But I'm hoping for the best, like I think we all are. :)

Ye filthy land lubbers.

I'll probably enjoy Episode 3, simply because I have incredibly low standards. As long as it has some really cool action sequences, I'm a happy man.
I bet you think that's funny, don't you.

Star Wars movies are meant to entertain, and in my opinion, they succeed. (Although some of the flaws are just so distracting, in some cases)

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I liked all the Star Wars movies... plot faults or no plot faults. Typically I just go into movies to be entertained and I don't really bother to read to much into them and just let the plot holes go. I have more fun that way. :)

I agree... rather than pick apart a movie's fault's, it's better to just accept them and sit back and enjoy it for what it is: entertainment.
I bet you think that's funny, don't you.

I read on Theforce.net about a week ago, that George Lucas doesn't think that Episode 3 will be PG, due to its dark content. He believes it might actually get a PG-13 rating, unlike all the other Star Wars films.

That makes for some interesting thoughts, on what he has cooked up. It's obvious there's something different, if it's earning a different rating.....Hell, we all know that for Star Wars, that means a LOT.

I can't even bear to sit through Episode I anymore in places. I HAVE to fast forward. I find it THAT bad. Episode II I can stand a bit more, but still, I fast forward in places.

I don't think there are links to these clips. Like I said, I watched them on an Entertainment show on T.V....

Mostly, I want to see how Lucas portrays the fight with Anakin and Obi-Wan, and I want to see exactly how Windu, Padme, and Dooku dies. It would be cool if Anakin just goes on a rampage killing everybody, showing his true powers.

Are those the same clips that you can see on the Bonus Disk on the new DVDs?
There are more shots of the fight in the documentary about the Ep3 video game.

The predicted line for the end of the movie.

The camera focuses on the Death Star, suspending in deep space. As the camera steadily zooms up on the Death Star, there is a cut to a scene of Darth Vader talking to an imperial commander.
Imperial Commander: "What are your orders Lord Vader? Shall we begin the test of the Death Star?"
Vader: "Not yet, commander. Before we can begin the actual test, we must test its other functions. Let's try spinning...that's a good trick."
