I know what a creature troll in fantasy is and all, but some of you older people refer to some people as "trolls"? What does this mean?

Its someone who posts insults or offensive content in online forums with the intention of drawing the regular members into a fight. Basically, they only reason they exist is to make online-life for others unpleasant.

Whatever happened to that LotR pics with Boromir that says, "They have a forum troll!" That picture was great, but I couldn't find it, despite the fact I spent ages sifting through the Image Corner (Yes, I know I have no life...)

Dost anyone know of thy troll pic's whereabouts?

Generally, a lot of those photoshoped pics that can be applied to forum activities come from the Something Awful forums.
