from a TV show. what was the most upsetting(not like weeping or anything, just upsetting) thing that happened.

mine would be when Col. Blake died on MASH, i know its an old show but it is still upsetting

I would have to say the Band of Brothers episode where they came upon the Concentration Camp in Germany...

Not TV, but I don't care.

When Chewie was written out in the New Jedi Order books.

I seriously cried after reading that. I read three of the books that came after it, then stopped. SW is not the same without Chewie.

Anybody else remember Dinosaurs? The last episode of that made me cry. Granted I was like 8 or something when that aired.

DS' BoB episode and TimeWolf's last B5 episode, plus Data's death in ST: Nemesis. I seriously cried, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
A desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy.

I didn't cry when Data died in Nemesis but I was quite moved. Data is...was one of my favorite character.

Sleepy Hollow, when the father and mother die, then their little boy too. Tim Burton went too far, dammit.

I haven't seen Cowboy Bebop's last episode, but Trigun's last few episodes were pretty grim.


SPOILER ALERT


I mean, Wolfwood dies, and that's bad enough, but then Legato pretty much defeats Vash in every way, making him kill again. What a letdown.

Seconded. The movie was horrible beyond repair, but that scene was really gut-wrenching.

For me, it was the scene in JC's Titanic, when officer Lowe returned to the debris field after the sinking, maneuvering the lifeboat past the victims (it happened in real life, but meh).
