I'm watching the new trailer and it looks really really cool.

The only thing I don't care for is the ridiculous gore. I realize they are targetting the mature audience now, but I think it looks totally out of place.

I really enjoyed the first one though, so I have no doubt I'll be getting this too.

Maybe they think the older gaming generation is the new thing, and games producers are just adding in gore and stuff - impressed by doom 3 or something?

I don't personally think gore is the right path, but if you could turn it off and make it availiable to children with a child-lock, then they'd be going somewhere! :)
Sneaky sneaks. I'm actually a werewolf. Woof.

They're changing his voice too. They're getting someone who did the UT taunts. He even calls someone a b**ch at one point...

From mild-mannered, softly spoken, British, and slightly naive, to an American 15 year old who wears wrestling t-shirts... Great... Personally I liked the fact that the character changes from a flawed, selfish, and paranoid character snob into someone who becomes aware of the consequences of his actions. The fact that he spoke with (a bit of a forced) high-BBC British accent was more fitting for royalty than for him to start uttering wrestling-isms.

You'll probably get to play another character than the prince at some point too.

Well, at least they're showing off some of the adventure and jumping bits. I just loved the open cavernous bits like the ice-caves, the underground reservoir, the library, the zoo, the courtyard with the palm-trees, and the final tower-climb.
No blaring music. Just beautiful vistas and a sense of being completely and utterly alone in the palace.

Oh yeah, Clicky-clicky!
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

Haven't seen/heard anything about it as yet ("This is the pulse. And this is your finger, far away from the pulse, jammed straight up your ***!") but I did enjoy the first one, although it became somewhat repetitive, with there only being a few moves when fighting.

I'll get it if I can still get my 30% discount, otherwise...I'm just way too poor.

Fighting zombies was lame. I hope you get to kill people this time, as cold as that sounds, they're like, actual enemies. I hate games where you do nothing but kill zombies.

They also made the puzzles way too easy in comparison with the original games.

Combat in PoP was a minor distraction for what came between during and after: running, jumping, and swinging around some of the best level design in a game ever.

If the levels are as imaginative and intuitive as the first one, I'll be happy.

The combat was pretty much awful, repeating the same moves over and over again. All I looked forward to was the jumping puzzles... Hopefully "The Warrior Within" will emerge in this "sequel".

They changed his VA? What? I liked the original VA because it gave him a sense of royalty. He was a prince after all! I'm looking forward to the improved combat, but I hope the puzzles will still be innovative as the last game. I also hope more people will buy the game.

PoP was brilliant, harder then the original I think....That damn puzzle with the 4 moons and the cranks in the beggining had me stumped for ages. I also loved swinging around, and combat.
Think while it's still legal.

I believe they are changing the combat alot for this, becuase of the complainst that it was too repeditive. i don't know much more then that, though.

The guard tells you if you've done the right thing, all you gotta do is listen to what he says.
