First of all I'd like to apologize if there have been 489379023475 Fable threads thus far. I haven't even looked at my computer, let alone come to massassi since I bought the game. Hell I was at my girlfriends house for dinner with her family and all I could think was; "You know, I could be playing Fable right now."

I love this game so very much, and I want to have it's babies, who's with/against me?

Maybe I'm stupid, but what's Fable? Never heard of it...

Most over-hyped game for the Xbox.

Agreed.
Think while it's still legal.

Well be as it may, it still is a great game in it's own right.

I want to buy an Xbox for Halo 2 - now there's an awesome game. Some of my friend's have played it and they say it's just the begginning of Halo

It was fairly over hyped, but it's his own fault. He should stop promising all these features at the beginning of development.

And Halo was the most over-hyped game for the XBOX.
2004-09-22, 5:56 PM #14
He did say a lot of things were going to go into it--but it's the media's fault. Do you seriously think he's not going to massively change the game in the 4-odd years it's been in dev?

Also, Halo is/was/will always be amazing. This is coming from a PC gamer who hates consoles, ESPECIALLY the X-Box.

You may purchase a black rose in the shop in Northern Bowerstone, between the entrance to the jail (left road) and the entrance to Grey Manor (right road).

And it's very good game, I doubt any of you who call it "over-hyped" have actually played it. Damn anti-MS/XBox kids.
2004-09-22, 7:21 PM #17
Thing is, I'm anti-MS/XBox, but still think it's a good game from what I've played. Probably lives up to its hype.

Just bought this game.. I love it.
I'm going good the first time around.

Unfortuantly, after buying it I traded it for Ninja Gaiden with a freind for a few months so I can't continue playing anytime soon, and my game is on his xbox (Home for fall break..too much partying.. uhg....heh).

What's everyone's nickname? I'm chicken chaser, woo!

I own it. I've owned it since the day it came out. I was promised so much more. It's not a bad game, it's just not the "one-game-to-rule-them-all" game I was lead to expect.

I've played through Fable several times already as several different characters. Awesome, awesome game.

I think it's an average game at best.

Shallow story, butttt

Bug free, great graphics, some interesting and funny concepts, nice world and interactions, good character creations. Sort of a clickfest.

Good game. Not the best, but naught is perfect in tis world.

I read some stuff about it, but I'm still not clear - is the combat like Zelda? Or is it stats based like most RPGs? Is it an RPG or an action-adventure?

Would that be why it's sold over 3 billion copies world wide since it's release? Would that also be why billions of people still play it? Would that further be why people are STILL buying that game?

Over-hyped my ***. If it was over-hyped, the game would not still be selling like it is, people wouldn't still be playing it, and it more than likely would've never hit 3 billion copies world wide.

Sometime this month I'm getting an Xbox and pre-ordering Halo 2. As of right now, the Xbox has the games I'll play. Halo 2 was just the final item that made up my mind.

I beat it in 6 days. I just finished beating it a second time.

I must say...the last 3/4 of the game is rushed out the drive-through window and when I got home, I realized they forgot my ****ing frosty!!!

I LOVE FABLE!!!!!! It's very very fun and addicting when you're shaping your character, except when you finish, then u can keep playing.....but there's really no point...because everything is easy...well, i guess some of the women aren't, and even then, you can only have 1 wife/partner per town.

Fable is one of those games that you just restart and play through it again, and you try to play it differently...so it's mostly a game that revolves around how cool you look. But it's still alot of fun.

And this game should never, ever, EVER be compared to Morrowind Game of the Year Edition. (which is better in terms of length and storyline and almost everything oh crap I compared.)

That's funny. Locally it has one of the highest sell-back rates of any game out right now.

I read somewhere that it had more sales in its first week than KotOR had in its first 6 months?!

Being that it's either just at or over 4 years old, and it's sequel is JUST about to come out, don't you think that could have something to do with the little thing I like to call pre-orders?

No, I think what it could be is me not reading the entire post I was responding to. ;)

I thought he was talking about Fable, not Halo.
