I waited outside of the store till the doors opened, then I ran to the shelf and baught all the copies just to be greedy, then I ran home and watched them all.

What did you do for YOUR copy?

After school I went to the nearest Saturn, regretted that I didn't have enough time to chat with the stormtroopers that were patrolling there, bought my copy, regretted that I didn't have enough money to buy the soundtrack and took the train home to start watching the Bonus DVD.

I'll be getting it on my next paycheck, I've got to buy these important things called; food, caffeine and nicotine, the staples take precedent over the Trilogy, but hell if I can't wait.

I ended up picking mine up at 12:10 AM cuase my friend Cara cuased me to run late in getting to the 24 hr Wal-Mart here. It not that I didn't have other places that I could buy it at, its just that buying it at Wal-Mart would allow me to have it as soon as they put it out on the selling floor, instead of waiting for a place to open in the morning.

Plus, I'm one holy heck of alot more likely to be up at midnight than I to be up at 10 in the morning, when most of the stores around here open.

I went to a local shop on monday, only to learn they will begin to sell it on wednesday (here in Finland). Thus, I returned on wednesday, but I was in no hurry. In fact, I only watched the first movie today, although I removed the wrappings right away...

You're not entirely correct. My lady, for my birthday, bought me all three versions of the Empire Strikes Back movie posters (original prints, in mint condition) that had never been hung at a theatre. Those, my friend, are worth a LOT.

Got it Tuesday, then came home and listened to my mom complain about how I should have waited so we could find a deal to get them cheaper.

Yeah right. Fellowship of the Ring has been out what, three years? Four years? Just the normal DVD copy I have NEVER seen below a normal DVD price. What makes her think this box set will come down anytime soon?

She was over it about an hour later.

Tuesday afternoon I had some time before class. I was bored and I rememebered that the DVDs came out today. So I thought for a little while and decided to go out and purchase them. So I hop in me little white Nissan Sentra and drive to the closest place available for purchase and that is Best Buy. I half expected not to be able to purchase one for it being sold out. But that did not come to pass and I purchased the widescreen edition.

Upon returning home I plopped down, threw in The Empire Strikes Back for it is my favorite of all the trilogies. I even made some comments on #massassi as I was watching it. Yes that can be translated to "geek points gained." But there was much rejoycing in my household
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I was late to work. I left my house with a half hour to run over to Fry's, get a copy, then run back to work. I made it there 5 minutes late (which is normal for me).

When I got to Fry's Electronics, there wasn't a frigging display or anything displaying that the movies were out. I had to walk to the movie section in the far back and get one off the shelf.

The worst part was they had like 6 copies on the shelf. 3 Full screen and 3 wide screens. Of course Wide Screen was gone. But they brought out a shopping cart full of them. By the time the guy finished opening the first box, they were all gone.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

I had the wisdescreen shortage problem, too. rather than settle for fullscreen, I'm going to wait until demand levels out.
