I'm stoned

Horray for me, I finally found a medication that has some effect on me. The downside is that it makes me totally high. I say 'downside' because I have to go to work in a couple of hours, learning some pretty complicated stuff. And to make things worse, I have to take some more before I go.

I get this kind of drunk, dizzy, drousy feeling. I have no balance. And I feel totally disconnected. (but hey, at least I can breathe!)

So for all you druggies out there, is there a quick way to "sober up"? It's my second day of work and I'm gonna have a hard time explaining to clients why their coupons are so funny. :p

Dont smoke before you drive a car, or anything like that. There's a good chance your employer will be able to tell if you're stoned and that's often a fireable offence, so be a little careful having a smoke before going in to work.

Also, I see many pages in this threads' future...

I want some! :)

The only thing that sorted me out was food, and lots of it. But I think that's probably a seperate issue...

Sudafed, eh? Is it speical sudfed? :p

I don't know that there's really a way to sober up from stuff like sudafed.
Pissed Off?

call in sick, and then sober up.

After working so hard to not go out the fire exit, it would be a shame to piss away this job over something like this. :p

As far as I know there's nothing you can do to sober up off of hard medication like that.... Pot and alcohol are totally different cases, where there are steps that can be taken to totally sober up.

Well, I went in anyways.

Aside from spending about a minute trying to pass 20$ into the register before realizing it was really 40$ and then forgetting to give back a client's air miles card, I did ok. :p

Oh and page - I think the only reason I got this job is because there's no fire exit. ;)

Any medication i take tastes awful. And it has no fun side-effects :(
Sneaky sneaks. I'm actually a werewolf. Woof.

Pseudoephedrine does that to me too, though not nearly that badly. I'd suggest that if you need a decongestant regularly, that you see your doctor about a non-drowsy prescription. You might ask about Sudol; it works for me without the woozy side effects. I'd certainly recommend against going to work feeling like that; it's not wise, or even safe.
