Yup, and it was the toughest three days of my life, yet incredible fun now that I look back on it. Sentry duties, getting a rifle as my own from the first moment, living rough and wild, decent rations and buggering about with all sorts of army techniques like personal camo, tent making, and, of course, attacks, ambushes and other such fun stuff. There's nothing like sitting atop a knoll at ten at night firing like there's no tomorrow into the bushes with blanks, or running up a field in formation doing something fairly similar. It was awesome!
