I'm addicted to the iTunes music store. In the past 2 weeks I've purchased 18 songs. At $.99 per song, plus tax that's around $20 or so that I never intended to be used according to the way I budget my money... haha, ya right, like I have a budget. But still. It's annoying that I'm a compulsive music buyer. The good news is all the songs I've purchased are amazing, except for the crappy remixes and live versions that I didnt know were remixes or live versions when I bought them.... ARGH. I've wasted $3 so far on songs I wanted, but not that version of them.
Example:
REM - The One I Love (live), wanted studio version
They Might Be Giants - Instanbul (Not Constantinople)[jazz funk version], wanted original studio version
Coldplay - One I Love (live), wanted studio version as I already have the live version from the DVD purchase.
I guess I should've previewed the tracks first but since I thought they'd explicitly tell me if it wasnt the original track I feel ripped off, used, and dirty.
/addiction rant
