Questions about something in the ANH DVD

I haven't gone out and gotten the trilogy yet (strapped by income), but I was wondering if anyone out there could answer a question for me. There are some shots in ANH that have always bothered me, and I am wondering if Lucas finally had them fixed. So, here's my descriptions and questions:

1.The shot of the "sandcrawler" with the blinking light that Threepio sees off in the distance after he's left Artoo. That shot has always bothered me, because it looks like a little black paper cutout with a blinking light! Did they finally fix this digitally? Please tell me Lucas did!

2. The shot of the lanspeeder as it enters the Jundland Wastes from the Tusken Raiders' point of view. Another shot that's always bothered me, because it looks like a little paper cutout scooting across the bottom of the shot! Did Lucas fix this one too? Please tell me he did!

3. Any close-up "reaction shots" that have Artoo in them, with the wrong backgrounds, meaning that Lucas had slapped any old shot of Artoo in totally unrelated scenes with the wrong background( after R5-D2/D4 is "taken away", in the nextshot he's back in the line next to Artoo, because it's the same reaction shot from a minute or two ago; when Artoo is playing chess with Chewie, wrong background; when you see Artoo after Threepio fusses about melting in the tangled cables on the Falcon). Did Lucas fix these as well? Please tell me he did, because it wouldn't take that much to make new CGI background plates so that his reaction shots match with what is going on in the movie.

If anyone can, please let me know, because I have a sinking feeling that those shots haven't been changed, but I thought I would ask anyway. It's bad enough about what I have read about the color errors with things that have been digitally punched up that are now all messed up (like Luke's GREEN lightsaber blade on the Falcon).

Why would Lucas actually fix any of the things that need fixing? He seems to be content with just screwing things up even worse than they were to begin with.

It's a movie...

If it's still bothering you, you must move on...

The lightsaber is not green. It just looks that way on lower resolution TVs (like many of us have).

Also, none of the other things that you mention have been "fixed", since they look fine the way they are, IMO. But oh wait! You forgot the spring under the Luke's landspeeder! Yep, they fixed that. A few other things have been changed for continuity's sake.

SPOILER FOLLOWS

I honestly don't see why everyone is upset at the Aurabesh they use when Obi-Wan powers down the tractor beam. First of all, it makes perfect sense since you see no printed English in any other Star Wars movie. Second, the Aurabesh can be literally translated to "Power; Tractor Beam 12". So they paid attention to detail. :)

I didn't notice any of the problems that you mentioned, YODA. I thought that the sandcrawler, flashing that light at C-3PO, was a Jawa :D
