Daylight savings time switching sucks hard...

I'm so tired right now.... Losing an hour of sleep really blows, considering that I've been plagued by insomnia all week. Hopefully that will change soon...

Is anyone else in favour of the idea of the world just choosing either standard or daylight savings time and sticking with it the whole year?

Welcome stranger. Make yourself at home. We're all good folk but once in a while we get one of them trouble makers ridin' through these parts. If they start givin' you trouble, feel free to stop by Sheriff Brian's office. He or one of his deputies can round up them varmits. Oh, and don't feed the MadQuack. He's a mean ol' critter. Bite your hand clean off your wrist he will.

YES

We should also eliminate time zones.

Yes. Hawaii and Arizona don't do it, so why should anyone else?

It is kind of stupid now. The whole concept of Daylight Savings was implemented in the Great Depression, and now it's kind of pointless

IT was always pointless. Why set teh clocks forward ? why not just get up an hour earlyier... there will still be the same amount of daylight.

I say set them back a half hour and leave them.
Daylight savings time... who gives a crap. 33% of us work nights. LOL!!

^ Exactly what I've always thought.

The concept is stupid... as if changing our clocks "saves" any daylight.

What?

Wow...I didn't pick up on why my clock was an hour ahead on my computer until just now...thought it was an error or something.

Yeah, it kind sucks, especially losing an hour. I'll live though.

I want there to be Daylight savings DAY. Where you gain an entire day. It's not Saturday, it's not Sunday. It's NOday. People walk around aimlessly, purposelessly in the streets. Cars crash. Stocks plummet. Children fly off swings. People wallow around in the dirt, searching in vain for a purpose, for a reason to exist during that 24-hour span; any purpose, any reason, even that of the earthworm. But then NOday is over, the sun rises, alarm clocks sound, and people remark that they just can't believe how late to work they will be this morning.

The clock change is supposed to conserve fuel for lighting.

I hate it too though. It's always great when the movie you're watching becomes 5 hours long. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

And where is the difference?

I like it, since then we can play soccer longer in the evening outside, we have bright time outside [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Where's the problem? Is that a real problem to you?

Even though I said it's stupid...

I still don't think its a big deal. I lose an hour sleep? woopdedo! If I cared that much I would go to bed an hour earlier...

If they had it so the time changed in the middle of week at like 2pm, and I was sitting in a class for an extra hour, I'd be pissed...

But hey...=)
