What was that good, freeware TV capture software that someone mentioned?

Think it may have been GBK that mentioned it. I can't remember if it was for Linux or Windows though. I'm hoping it was for Windows though.

ATI MMC is ticking me off(after I noticed a massive delay in the time it takes the A/V to get output). Makes playing games through it impossible.

I've found good programs that play the video well, but none of them deinterlace and crop it. I need something that deinterlaces and crops the video, and also allows it to be played full screen(and at least 640x480).

I don't know if this does capture, but for at least playing video through your capture card (a game input, for example), I hear DScaler is the best for Windows. For Linux, TVTime serves the same purpose, and I think even uses some of the DScaler methods.

Ugh, plays video fine(great quality in fact), but apparently audio doesn't work with TV Wonder cards. I've looked on their forums, and it seems there are tons of people with various TV Wonder cards, and they can't get audio working.

Yes, DScalar for Windows.... For Linux, forget about TVTime, go with XawTV for viewing (extremely lightweight, very responsive) and ffmpeg or avirec ffor recording...

Your having a problem with the "audio crossbar", arent you? I had the same problem. Just keep reinstalling the drivers, miving the card around, etc... Youll get it eventually...

Ahh, I got it working.

Now, is there a video cropping filter anywhere? I want to crop the black bars off the side if I can. Not too important, but well, I'd rather have it that way.

DScaler kicks all kinds of *** .

Go to Settings->Image Shift/Size Settings

Oh, ok, I see. The adjustments were confusing me since in windowed mode it cuts off the side(of the actual picture, not the black bars) when you're doing that. I got it adjusted right in fullscreen mode where it fits right though.

Awesome, now it works perfectly and looks exactly like I want.

Muchos gracias for help.
