They could allways put in the celebrations and the Ewok song.
I'm going to put my THX-VHSs on DVD.
Sorry for the lousy German

The SE's ending track was much more uplifting then a bunch of Teddy Bears singing "Yub-Yub."

Agreed, TimeWolf. Those who are upset about Naboo being added to the other planets celebrating... ugh. You saw it coming! :p

Personally, I think they could've combined the two. While on Endor, you hear the Ewok song, and then after you leave that planet, it fades into the other music.

And no Anakin change at the end. That is the one thing I hate the most about this set.

They should have replaced this scene with the rebels blasting those filthy ewoks and selling their pelts to help pay for the war.

I felt really bitter about them replacing the song at the end, because I really liked it. But after watching Return of the Jedi on DVD I must say that the new music isn't too bad at all. HOWEVER, the stupid Special Edition crap music in Jabba's palace sucks ***. The original was so much better and it flowed perfectly into the whole screaming dying whore thing. The new one sounds AND looks stupid.

In A New Hope, the Jabba scene is inconsistent with the Jabba in Return of the. The Jabba in Episode VI is a badass Alice in Wonderland caterpillar rip-off. The one in Episode IV is like that flower. It doesn't make sense that he's like "O Han my boy, I love it went you step on my tail" and then in VI he's like "No bantha poodoo, f--- you, no second chances b----".

Also, in Episode V, the scene they changed with the Emperor talking...the acting is REALLY bad. And the new dialogue is stupid.

EDIT: And another thing, the stupid Special Edition **** where the Sarlacc has a phallus squirming out of it makes no sense. If it's a creature that digests its food for a thousand years, why the hell would it have crap like that? It is obviously in no hurry to find food. Frankly, it is more badass as a hole in the ground.

Seems like a good time for this.

For the Even Specialer Editions DVD they should show every planet celebrating, like this.

Hoth-A one armed Wampa emerges from his cave, sniffing at the air. His eyes go wide and he throws his one arm up, screaming "FREEDOM!"

Dagobah-The creature that tried to eat Artoo emerges from the murky water, throws up his arms and starts dancing around. He grabs a random droid and pops it into his mouth, which he opens wide for the camera as he swallows it down.

Yavin IV-Everything is silent, until suddenly, the giant temples themselves grow arms and legs and spurt under the ground, dancing around with each other.

Cut to stock footage of Martin Luther King, Jr. saying "Free at last, Free at last, good god almighty, free at last!" with no explanation, then cut to the next scene.

Geonosis-Geonosis is empty, but slowly, a single baby Geonosian peeks his head out from the hive. His nose-thing twitches, eyes adjusting to the light as he looks up to the sky and see's fireworks. He smiles broadly, slowly walking out of his hive for what must be the first time in years. He looks back to the entrance, waving his friends on. Slowly, a hundred Geonosians begin to crawl out carefully, then they all start flooding out and begin to make weird clicky sounds that can only mean 'Freedom!'

Kamino-For some reason that they'll think up an explanation for later, the Clones, in full armor, are dancing around with each other, yelling 'EVERYBODY PARTY! WE'RE FREE!' Taun We rolls her eyes lovingly, then proceeds to make out with Lama Su ( dude, you know he's tapping that )

Asteroid-The Space Slug emerges from his home, coughing up a few Mynocks before he yells triumphantly "At last the chains of oppression are shed, at long last I will know the same peace and freedom my forefathers did! How could I survive by eating metal, especially when I never get to eat any out in the middle of nowhere?"

Endor-We see Emperor Palpatine's body, still falling from his plunge down the Core Shaft, falling through the air. The camera zooms in and we see he's got a happy smile on his face, raising the roof with his hands and saying "Everyone's Freeeeee!" As it turns out, when Sith die they automatically realize the error of their ways and get happy that they died. Also, they reverse age, so it's actually Monkey-Eyes Old Woman Emperor who we see. And there's gungans in the background.

I addressed that in the Han vs Greedo thread.

Quote:
Remember what's happened since ANH though.

Han dropped his cargo because he was being boarded by Imperials shortly before ANH.
He explains this to Jabba, and tells him he has a charter (Luke, Obi-Wan, R2, and C3-P0) and that he can get him the money then.
Han joins the rebellion.
Between ANH and ESB, a bounty hunter hired by Jabba catches up with Solo.
Jabba at this point, has had enough. The bounty is placed on Han's head.
Han is frozen in Carbonite.
Fett takes Han to Jabba.

Alot happened between ANH and RotJ that would change Jabba's attitude towards Han.

It is NOT inconsistent. Listen to the dialouge a bit closer in the films next time. They drop very small clues in ESB that Jabba is beginning to get ticked off with han.
