You know that Sky Captain and World of Tomarrow movie? Isn't that all computer generated? If someone could give me an article or something explaining it, that would be appreciated.

Even the knife and the wires at one point in the film are CGI. I thought it was going to suck really bad. I'm a moron...It rocked so hard. (Sorry, I couldn't find any article, I suck :( )
Think while it's still legal.

Didn't they film the actors in black and white and then applied technicolor?

I thought the movie was grand, in a "1930's cheesy-comic book" style.

Loved it.

Ugh, I just got back from watching it and I thought it was the most boring, least thought-provoking, most crappy piece of crap movie I've ever seen. Seriously, I'd rather watch grass grow. None of the characters were interesting, none of the acting was decent, and it seemed like the guy who wrote it couldn't piece together a decent from all the zillions of ideas he stole from everyone else. Blah.

Brian didn't like it?

It must be good!

The trailer looked corny to me. My girlfriend wants to see it, but I think it's going to be a renter. From what I've heard it has more style than substance.

You missed the entire point of the movie, then. The characters were supposed to be underdeveloped, and the acting somewhat over-the-top, because it was supposed to be a comic-book-turned-cinema. Not like Spider-Man or X-Men, but not as silly as Mel Brooks -- something in between.

Seriously, I loved it. I heard he took paintings and CGI'ed them up.

It was mostly just made to show off the special effects. There will be future movies with this technology that are 'deep'. I guarantee it.
DO NOT WANT.

ok...i've been considering going to see this movie but wasn't sure since it looked weird and was rated PG...and from what the commercials showed, it looked like a movie that coudl have easily gotten PG-13..but I had no idea about the movie...so, uh, ok, those thoughts are nice to know...because now I know i can go see it and NOT be made fun of by my friends for seeing a kiddy movie...
I had a blog. It sucked.

Star Wars is weird and rated PG. I fail to see your logic.

Well, we've grown up with it. It's normal to us. But we're not exactly normal ourselves.
