what did you guys think of Lucas's DVD commentary on the DVDs? I thought it was interesting how he went back 20 year sand remembered all the problems that they ran into while filming.

When I rented the DVDs, I pretty much watched the commentaries b/c i've heard the normal dialogue so much that I wanted to hear something new.

I found his THX 1138 commentary much more insightful, but the commentaries on the OT are still worth a listen.

I somehow liked Irvine Kershner's commentary although he more or less allways commented on what was happening on screen and not telling anything interesting ("Uh, and up comes 3PO to ruin everything. Ha ha ha"). It was really funny.
But what I didn't like was that they didn't go into the DVD changes.
Where these changes advertised anywhere officially? I mean, there was a lot of word-to-mouth, but the changes aren't even mentioned on the DVDs themselves.
