Woohoo! Optical disks with a one-terabyte capactity! I don't know exactly what this would be good for... maybe HD recordings of every single episode of the Simpsons or something... (no don't get me wrong, that would be cool)

Unless there's something new I haven't heard of, Blu-Ray (which is already out) is still the largest capacity.

yeesh... It looks like I'll be using 4.7 gb red-ray discs for the forseeable future.

How much is blu-ray media, on average? It doesn't use standard DVD recordables, does it?
