who here as ever experinced watching a tv show or movie and known something was going to happen without any help (e.g.having already seen it, music cues or otherwise a blatently obvious story turn)

I have, cant think of any specific occurrences at the moment but I will get back later.

I can predict simpsons episodes.

I recall a clip from a particular episode, and sure enough, Fox will air it soon after i think about it.

I can't control this currently, it just kind of happens.

I've had numerous occasions where start singing a song in my head and then it comes up on my playlist or on the radio minutres later. I've had dreams that happen weeks later.

Same thing happens to me sometimes. Weird stuff.

Dreams that happen weeks later? That's impossible.

Are "psycic" powers an Australian ability?

Sounds more Eastern European to me...

It's called haveing a pathetic plot. Or you just know some thing will happen in a certian situation, because it always happends in the same situation in other movies.

The radio one is an example of counting your hits and ignoring your misses. It's pretty likely that you were thinking of the song because it was popular or you had heard it somewhat recently. That's also why the radio played it. You never notice when you turn the radio on and the song is something different. There are some times when you'll just get the song "right" by chance.

But surely if eastern Europeans possess such an ability, those that live in the utopia that is Australia possess it as well...

That exact same thing happens to me.... and i have short dreams or parts that i can remember that will actually happen roughly 2 weeks later
