I watch Road Rules and Real World and I kept seeing the promos for Laguna Beach so I decided to watch it. Is it just me or does that seem fake? The lighting looks too professional/movieish, the camera angles are always in the perfect spots(some of them seemingly impossible spots), and why would they need a voiceover director and a talent director if it was real?

it looked like it might be interesting but I didn't know they already aired it. i'm off on tv show times. all I know is everynight i gotta watch Family Guy on Cartoon Network at 11pm. lol

What I do wanna see is "Lost" on ABC. More so because of Dominic Monaghan. I <3 Hobbits and men who play them! lol I missed the show premiere last week cuz I was too busy getting ready for a party that night, but tonight Im definitely gonna watch it :D

And for some reason the show angered me. I think rich teenagers piss me off. I'm jealous. :(

The only thing MTV has produced in the later years that was even bearable was Celebrity Deathmatch. Before that, all there was was Bevis and Butthead. Everything else they have done is crap.

Do they even do Celebrity Deathmatch anymore?

As someone who deals with film and lighting daily, I can promise it's all faked, or at least rehersed or re-enacted. The scenes would take an hour of setup beforehand, knowing exactly where everyone would be, and for how long they'd be there. That's considering they had only one take, with multiple takes (Proving it's fake in the process) they'd need even more cameras and footage. Changing tapes on the fly doesn't really 'work' for 'live' footage.

I can go into precise detail with just the comercial, but that's for the moment someone name-says me.

THERE. IS. NOTHING. HIP. ABOUT. MTV.

All reality shows are faked to some degree. Or at least the majority are.
