I'm really sorry

About posting "Hi Brian, Welcome back!". I saw everyone else did and I just wanted to fit in. You know, not be an outsider?

So I'm really sorry and I won't ever post "Hi Brian, Welcome back!" again because when a thread gets locked because of me... that sort of makes me feel bad like I did something to upset someone.

:(

BRIAN HAS BEEN BACK FOR 11 MONTHS.

Really, if that had been done to me I would have been more than slightly offended.

The thread was closed because you revived a year-old thread for no good reason. And its the second time I've seen you do this in the past few days. Dont post on threads that are more than 3 weeks old, unless you have a good reason to revive the thread.

Yes. Everyone else did it...a year ago.

It's quite easy to look at a thread date and notice it is a year old (if going through the last pages of threads didn't give enough clue) ....

It's okay, I myself am trying to fit into a new community. But as practice I tend to keep the option set to the last two days for thread views and I tend to only comment on those instead of looking back to far. It annoys people, not insulting you in anyways, just think about it.

I have never passed the first page of threads unless I am looking for something specific I remember reading.

And I NEVER post on threads older than two weeks, and only post on threads older than a week only if I have something VITAL to the conversation. You should consider adopting a similar policy.

Ok, I see now. No useless posts in old threads.

I just thought... I might go back and read the old threads, to get a feel for the history.

Furthermore, I've just noticed that you've now posted 2 in-appropriate images that had to be edited out by an Admin. Maybe you should just hang around a bit and watch how everyone else acts before you start posting. I hate telling people that they need to "lurk more," but seriously... if you break another rule again, I'm going to have to at least temporarly ban you.

In fact, why dont you take the time to read the rules instead of making excuses.

I don't remember any moneyobie, but my lives-in-close-proximity-to-bridges-and-charges-people-passage sense is tingling a bit.

Really? I'll have to get mine checked. It's gone off on a few other members that have vanished, but he snuck right in under my radar.

I'm going to say this as tactfully as I can:

Dear muzein,

You really, really irritate me.

Sincerely, Acharjay.

Why would you be browsing year old archives anyway?

Oh, and for the admins:

When you make a sticky announcing a new rule, why not actually *add* the rule to the master list of rules so the new members actually *can* see them?

Call me crazy, but I think it's a good idea.

If someone had done it to me, I'd have found it hilarious.
