Because everyone drinks at least four glasses of wine on a Monday evening.

Passover is ancient Hebrew variant of the Atkin's diet. Enjoy it.

The Atkin's Diet is actually supposed to be pretty unhealthy.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

I don't see how limiting the amount of carbohydrates (your brain's primary source of energy) is unhealthy...

Thing is, we're not Jewish!

I'm going to two seders, because I'm a good Jew. That means eight glasses of wine for me!
A desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy.

A major source of objection to a free economy is precisely that it gives people what they want instead of what a particular group thinks they ought to want. Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.

Well, you eat lots of meat, right? That is mostly protein. Breakdown of protein creates urea. A huge amount of urea produced needs to be excreted by the kidneys. It could damage the kidneys, but don't quote me on that.

Also if you breakdown a lot of fat, you could maybe possibly get aciketodosis.

I mean, you can metabolise ketones and urea, but if you aren't starving to the point of using ketones or doing any growth to use the urea, yeah, they have to go somewhere.

Welcome stranger. Make yourself at home. We're all good folk but once in a while we get one of them trouble makers ridin' through these parts. If they start givin' you trouble, feel free to stop by Sheriff Brian's office. He or one of his deputies can round up them varmits. Oh, and don't feed the MadQuack. He's a mean ol' critter. Bite your hand clean off your wrist he will.

People walking around with 3 times the normal cholesterol level due to the atkins diet is very unhealthy.

No buddy... Definitly not. Atkins does NOT triple your cholesterol level at all.

It does when they tell you you can eat as much fat as you want.. So many people believe it.

It does. I've seen it quite frequently locally. Triple may be too harsh, but we have had some cases of it and atkins IS to blame.
