Who the **** are you voting for?

Or would vote for, if you needed to make a choice.

Is no-one else getting tired of "NO DEBATING" occuring all too often?

I mean, the purpose of the poll is to find out who people will vote for. The purpose of the thread is to work out why. As long as people vote in the poll, then it doesn't really matter what goes on in the thread.

It's because everyone is sick of all the debating. It is nice to have peaceful threads.

Peaceful threads that are INCREDIBLY BORING.

Back in the day when we didn't have polls, all those 'POST YOUR...' threads were really pointless, because there was no way to summarise the data, and no-one was really interested in what anyone was posting anyway. Just everyone was telling everyone else that they liked wearing blue underwear. Finding out what people think isn't interesting enough to trawl through pages upon pages of "i vote kerry". Finding out why people think that is considerably more interesting. Especially for those that don't really have an opinion on the issue, so they can evaluate the different issues and form their opinion.

You don't think we already have enough debate threads? I think we can figure out the "why's" in those.

Maybe it doesn't get to you since you aren't American (unless you are, then I'm sorry. I thought you implied you weren't once though), but the months leading up to the election are always full of arguing. I personally think it's kind of nice to have a little harmony now and then.

And it's not "Who would you vote for" it's "Would you vote for Bush, or would you vote for Kerry? Period, no third parties, no stupid comments, just choose already for the love of god just choose"

I finally got myself registered to vote tonight. I've been really busy since I started temping. Now my opinion on here can seem to matter a bit, too. :D

I think the real question is "Who is more popular?"

no, cnn and time actualy say how many people were asked, send it to the prime network with john howard in the place of bush and mark lathem (sp) in the place of kerry.

they would probably incorparate it into their statistics.
