Yes, it is old news. And yes, I shamelessly ripped this off from the similar topic on the Something Awful Forums. But neither of those facts detract from how cool it is.

Here is a mosaic I put together of the summer camp that I work at. The main camp is the area on the right that is an old apple orchard (you can tell because the trees are planted in rows), but the camp property extends all the way to the left edge of the picture. There are hiking trails in the wooded area beneath the cliffs (the white jagged line that runs along the top of the image).

Boco speaks the truth... although it means we don't see scummy south-eastern England.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Well isn't this interesting... to bad it doesn't consider itself good enough to look over Canada... it looks at Alaska but closes it's eyes when it goes over Canadian soil. :(

The reason it only has the US is because the photos are mostly from the United States Geological Survey. No government organization is going to spend tax money to make topographic maps of other countries. (Except maybe Intellgence.)

California State University, San Marcos as seen in 2002. There have been some new buildings added recently. As you can see, small school.

I wasn't kidding when I said I'm a block away from the Pacific Ocean!
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Yeah.. I found a spot in DC with photos from 2002.

I zoomed in so I could see the goalposts, and read the writing on the football field. As well as see the people in the stands..

That's really scary.

Look! It's my house!

I'm in Canada, but even though I am in the little bit of "overlap" on the map (because I am within about 10k of the States), all they show is an old map from 1978.

Yeah, you can read the writing on our football field I noticed earlier.

Indeed it has. New buildings and everything. The most noticable is the giant field house.

I got a nice close-up of my house.

1. My house.
2. Summer Sky Drive (People speed on this road at like 2Am with music blasting like mad.)
3. Firends Pool I used to swim at all the time.
4. Back entrance to my suck-tacular HS.
5. Turnberry Road, you can't tell from this shot, but its a really long road.
6. Really good friend's house.

Please come rob my house.

When I started going to RIT, the hadnt even built the Computing Sciences building yet. The CS labs used to be in the small 1-story buildings behind the College of Business.
