...I don't like where this is going.

Good luck man, it's hard to get into that stuff. I'm a dj starting up a business here soon with a friend up in the midwest near duluth, minnesota and i remix/produce songs myself. So much easier to remix than produce, of course, but yeah I hope you land this out :) What genre is this going into exactly? Oh, and god the dj's suck in duluth. They seriously need to learn how to mix. They can never match their beats.. lmao. That's why i'm starting this new business.
Mmmm.

I found a web page once that calculated that the danger to humanity caused by wearing pants is far greater than the danger of converting entirely to nuclear power.

Xanatos, what program do you use to create your own beats? I've been trying to find one but I can't find one that produces REAL sounding beats... Mixmeister Pro just plain sucks. I hate those little "ticks" that are supposed to be drum beats. I WANT A REAL ORCHESTRA DAMNIT!

If you can't spend hundreds of dollars on hardware, you should just get fruityloops. Despite what it looks like at first, it's extremely powerful once you get more used to it. It's got insane ammounts of features, and lets you do anything imaginable. I've been using it for more or less two years now, and every week I discover something new about it. It won't match the sound of club equipment but it's the next best thing if you're on a budget.

They're going to remix it? That's no fun.

Depends on the remix.

But good luck for you, dear Flexy. :)

*farts* There, I vibrated.
2004-10-11, 7:14 PM #32
I just got an e-mail from them. They say they want to play it, but they need a higher quality version ASAP. They sent the e-mail at about 2pm. I sent them the new mp3 at around 9pm. So I don't know if they'll get it in time. Maybe he'll just put on the lower quality version instead, or maybe they'll put it on next week!

Anyways, I'll be listening tonight (nothing to do at work! ;)) and I'll tell you more tomorrow.

Well, they played the song!

They put me after tiesto :p

I'm trying to find a recording of it now, I'll post it when I have it. At worst, I can give you a time when the show will be broadcast over the internet.

If you have a decent connection, the show will be aired again on thursday from 1pm to 4pm eastern (montreal time). The song should air at about 2:20pm by my calculations (but it might be different in internet feed, might wanna tune in a bit before that).

Go to http://www.beatboxradio.net/v3/nouv_fr.htm and click on ecoutez/listen on the right side menu.

Or if you just want the song without the audio commentary and commercials, you can get a 112kbps encoding at www.soundclick.com/crystalnova/

2004-10-12, 10:28 AM #40
bottom one. The only one that works. ;)

The other one was just uploaded this morning and won't be cleared for a few hours.
