Do you think when he gets on the Tonight Show he will have to tone down his comedy some? No more Triumph, or Masturbating Bear? Couldnt think of Conan with out his craziness, thats what makes him funny.

I love Conan, but I think it'll get better because he'll get a bigger budget. Sure some of the craziness is gone (Frankenstein Wastes a Minute of Your Time) but who knows?
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

I love Jon Stewart and I will happily piss on Conan's humorless grave.
2004-10-05, 8:40 PM #4
Yeah...I don't think they'll take Triumph from him. That's just a staple, nowadays.

And I hold Jon Stewart and Conan in about the same regard. They're both pretty funny.

I think Mo Rocca & Steven Cobair (sp?) are 2x funnier than Jon Stewart.

So Conan is replacing Leno? And Stewart replacing Conan?

Ya know? Common sense? Not really that common...

stewart and conan are friggin hilarious on different levels, mikus. stewart take the funniest mess ups in politicol history and makes them 100x funnier. conan is just plain goofy and fun to watch.

calling someone else humorless is certainly calling the kettle black for you, mikus.
2004-10-05, 8:53 PM #8
Dude.. Conan is probobly my favorite talk show host of all time, with Jon Stewart coming along in a close second, but seriously? Who doesn't love a 6' 3'' irish man?

u r 2 clever 4 me cazro i bow 2 ur supeeror hoomar. [ mscbuck: Watch it ] . Maybe you could have posted the "Your opinion is wrong" picture to drive home how much more important you are than me.

I don't find any late-show hosts funny in the slightest, Conan is the best of a bad bunch. Jon Stewart is actually funny for me.

You take everything way too seriously Mikus. Chill out man.

i never said i was more important than you. never made a reference to myself in there at all. i was just talking about you. i could (and might be) the lowest form of scum in the galaxy and my comment can still be correct with no reference to me being better.

get back on topic. kthxbye.

Call me petty but...

Well... if you were the lowest form of scum in the universe, insulting me really would be the pot calling the kettle black, neh?

On topic, Triumph at the Star Wars premier was quite possibly the funniest thing ever on television.

Triumph to Darth Vader suited Nerd: "Which one of those buttons calls your mommy to come pick you up?"* :D

Triumph to Nerd: "He appears to be a bionic nerd constructed from lesser nerds"* :D

*Not 100% accurate

He wasn't insulting you in the least, jsut pointing out the irony of you calling someone not funny. Cazor isn't the only one who feels that way. Stop playing the "poor me" card.

I really prefer Leno over Conan. Conan has his moments, but seems to me to rely on making faces and jumping around to make things funny.

Humor is only a matter of opinion. If you say something is not funny, then one single person found it funny, you would be wrong.

You can however say that something is not funny to you.

Everyone has their own sense of humor and opinion, nobody is right or wrong. So yall should stop bashing each other because your opinions differ.

If Conan replaces leno i'm gonna stop watching the tonight show (yes we can get htem both in scotland), conan sucks...
nope.

I like Conan, Letterman, and Leno, all for different reasons.

Letterman's top 10 segments are great, Conan's irishness and humor is always wacky, and Leno's Jaywalking segments are beautiful.

I don't find Leno really funny, but he has some great jabs at politics.
Conan never says anything important, but his off-the-wall ness is enough to keep me happy.
And Letterman is just great. I can't describe it.

Mad Cow you epitomize humour. Congrats.

HCF: Are you sure it's super? I was sure there's at least some part where he calls someone a bionic nerd.

when are you people gonna come to the conclusion that *****ing and whining about completely unnecessary, pointless and irrelevent things is very very stupid... everything has been said already, get over yourselves.

really, re-read the thread, the reasoning behind this slagging match is so ****ing funny i'm almost crapping myself with laughter.
