Ubuntu Live CD... I should finally clean my hdds so I can switch to linux. I am favoring Gentoo, tough I am a noob. I want to have a shock therapie and understand everything :)

I'd die without PNG. How else do you compress your lossless images with an alpha layer? GIF can go die in a hole.

For purposes such as this, alpha layer and loss of quality is unnecessary.

Love the candles, it's like looking at art on the desktop.
My desktop is usually the latest game pic that has taken my interest... I'd post it, but my keyboard's function keys arn't working, anyone know an alternate way to do it?

Never heard of Ubuntu, what distro is it based on? What arch's does it support?

The "special" thing about Ubuntu is, that it ships (almost) only GNU software. Only some drivers that aren't available under the GNU licence are still necesairy. (But one can still install non-GNU software)

I heard from it on the Gentoo forums:
Some "important" Linux guy called "Richard Stallman" talked about it :)
