Yeah, finity5, I know what you mean. But I still think it's kind of cool that at least bands are attempting something meaningful. This is very close to the same debate people were having a few days ago about celebrities being involved in politics and whether it's an abuse of their "status." I don't know; it is a complicated issue. *shrugs*

Um...it's called grassroots political action. Bush is doing the same thing, as is the military. But you could move to Madagascar...:p

I'm seeing REM November 4th! Woo!

Pearl Jam is my favorite band... so it was really awesome to hear Stipe and Eddie Vedder sing Begin the Begin together. Mmmgh.
